my love is like a red, red rose.

An impatient cocoon; waiting for the perfect time to bloom into a beautiful butterfly. Full of zest on the hardshell; but mild within.

Because I am a QUEEN.

This just proves that I got too much time on hand.Here goes. I am actually quite jealous with others' blogskins. I mean, they are really eye-catching and refreshing unlike mine. So childish. Now Im beginning to hate the word BARBIEPINKISH. Its just so stupid to me now. :S So, last week, Ive decided to get another blog with a more appropriate name, HAHA. Not exactly cool, but much much more appealing than Barbiepinkish. :)

I only worked on the layout a few hours ago.
Its taken from blogskin.com (Thanks, Elmi) but I changed the background entirely to make it purely mine. Besides the real skin is about some stupid bear deprived of love. I did it in less than 2 hours, so dont expect too much from me.

I will be updating my entries on my new blog so barbiepinkish.blogspot.com can rot and die. BYE BYE!

So here it is:

Because I am a QUEEN.

Copy Benny.

Did you know that Benny's Char Kuay Rojak (its HALAL ok) is so bloody addictive? My family got waste about 6 bucks for 2 sets of that stupid rojak. So me and Firdaus ( since got nothing to do) on a bright sunny monday went to Tampines Mart and brought the ingredients for rojak-making. We managed to find nice yu tiao and tahu bakar from Shop & Save. The cost of the ingredients is about 7 dollars but we can make about 5 sets! It turned out very nice. :) At least all my berok brothers think our experiment - (COPY BENNY) was a success. Im very very happy.

We are even thinking about getting involved in CCN day to sell COPY BENNY char kuay rojak. Initially, we wanted to sell Roti John, Burger Ramlee or Tuna/Sardine/Egg Baguette but the preparations and the process of making those two are more tedious and time-consuming than COPY BENNY char kuay rojak. So Insya Allah, if both of us got a lot of time, we might set up a stall with Saleem (Firdaus BEST FRIEND rite!) Haha.

In the afternoon, me + firdaus + odip continued scrubbing the whole kitchen, re-arrange the dapur stuff and threw all the nonsense and useless stuff (yang terperok and tak berguna tapi mama tak sampai hati nak buang) without our parents knowledge. Our kitchen nampak mcm baru renovate! WOW! :)

Today's a tiring day but I enjoyed every single bit of it! Im sure Mama feels very very happy toooo. Maybe I should collect some cash and get her a nice little radio for her entertain while cooking. :) Then the kitcken will be complete!

I love you, Mama!

Thank you Firdaus!

I wonder what the both of us will do tomorrow! I cant wait. :) I'll check out some recipes and lets cook some more ok? I am really enjoying the first official holiday. I hope tomorrow will be a great one too. Oh.Lets watch Final Destination at Princess (Bedok) can??? Boleh?

*Geleks*

Tata ya'll.

Satan stinks.

Today was fun. :)

Watched Brothers Grimm (DVD) and it was fantastic. :)

I love magical fairy tales especially those with hilarious content like Shrek and Ever After.
Brothers Grimm are somewhat similar to Nujum Pak Belalang. They are actually con artists who and not real nujums - whatever that means, until one day 11 girls including hansel and gretel, red riding hood, cinderella, yadayadas, went missing and the brothers were forced to "fight" the wicked queen (from Snow Shite).
For REAL.

Matt Damon

Steve Finnan

Ya, you guys are right. Matt Damon definitely looks like Steve Finnan.

My late afternoon was spent scrubbing the kitchen floor with Firdaus. It has been a while since I last exercised. My arms and legs itched and hurt like *argh* because of the stupid cleaning solution. HA. But Im fine now. Nope, Im not allergic to anything. :P After maghrib, we went to get the usual Benny's at As-Shalihin and made our tummies (including Abah's) very happy. :)

The Aussie scored today.
That makes :
Liverpool win 1- 0 against Man City.

That Samaras guy looks *cough* pretty *cough*
cute.

:P

I bet Kakak will say:
Muka macam kuda!
(Like MY Milan Baros)
So what? Much better looking than Jose Mourinho, the one you think is handsome.
*Muntah darah you!

Oh. Ok finelah. For you Firdaus Sa'adon, Abang Nizam, Abang Adi and Abah,
Man UTD menang 4 - 0 .
Aper? Oklah. CRUSHED & HENTAMED Wigan Athletics. Happpy?

"Congratulations and jubilations.
We want to tell the world how happy we can be..."

Oh sh*t. Mr James' voice is in my ears. Get OUT!

I can still remember those times he retained us for nearly 30 mins to pratice this lame song for the Speech Day. And the boys go:
Congratulations and Jub*lations.!

Such stupid nonsense. But still, I miss those days! :(

I was reading the online recitations of the Quran and came across this:

And the Shaitan shall say after the affair is decided: Surely Allah promised you the promise of truth, and I gave you promises, then failed to keep them to you, and I had no authority over you, except that I called you and you obeyed me, therefore do not blame me but blame yourselves: I cannot be your aider (now) nor can you be my aiders; surely I disbelieved in your associating me with Allah before; surely it is the unjust that shall have the painful punishment.

Satan is really mean, eh. He reminds me of Jigsaw in Saw & SawII. He didnt exactly (directly) MURDER those victims but gave them a chance to choose to live.

Oklah. I think I really need to sleep. I have more cleaning-ups to do with my bestest cleaning buddy aka bestest friend aka bestest boyfriend. :)

Oh yes! Seif Umar's coming tomorrow. :) Two days without him, life's sucha a bore!

Ok TATA ya'll.

I heard it ALL before.

Oh dear. When school reopens in April, I'll be a senior student in Temasek Polytechnic. These days, time flies even when we are not having fun. I predict semester 3.1 is going to be a fast but hectic one, lots of projects with unreansonable datelines, boring subjects like LAW and MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING and not forgetting, Kelly Services. Yikes.

I will be doing my SIP during the holidays following the academic semester. I hope I can secure myself with a nice simple job with supernice co-workers and managers. I have done a little bit of research on the internet and most companies are open to fresh diploma graduates or students on internship programmes. SO I pray I will get into one of those companies. But Im worried. Ive heard stories about muslims girls wearing tudung being "discriminated" and have difficulties finding a suitable company for their internship. Is it true? Oh dear.

I hope it will work out just fine for me.

Haiz. Thinking about my future worries me. Since young, Ive always wanted a simple life with a simple job and get married to a nice handsome man with adorable kids. Simple. But so hard. Ok, my plan at this very moment has been adjusted a little bit. I want to get myself into a full time degree programme after poly. Ok laugh lah laugh! I dont care. I just feel times have changed. In the near future, diploma is going to be the next O level Cert and O Level Cert will mean nothing, I tell you.

But my grades are just average. Im just an average B student, unlike SOME PEOPLE, A student! Jangan action lah eh Firdaus,
when I marry you im going to korek all your money also!!!

The other time, I told Abang E how stressed I am over the exams and he just shook his head and said. " Poly so easy! Masuk university LAGI susah tau!" How encouraging. I felt like giving up my dreams when I hear people say how hard it is to get that degree. My secondary school teacher told me that during her time, the students were so competitive that they threw, tore and burnt each others' notes. Sad life. But I wonder how Kakak survived. I could hardly remember her studying so hard. She was always out during the weekends or ordering me to do things. When I was younger, I thought the main reason why she was so fat was because she's too lazy to get things done on her own. Every time bully me. Haiz.
BUT SHE MADE IT!
That's all that matters right?

I guess I need to work harder and aim for more Zs for the next two semesters, Insya Allah. Then, we'll see how things go. :)

I love you so much Nur Nadiah Bte Junadi! You can do it!!!

Ok bye!

Funny.

Its funny how the simplest things in life is so hard to do.
And how we always chase for what we want than what we really need.

Anyway, I am planning to work this school holiday. I miss the feeling of giving my mother blue notes from my hard labour at Burger King. *mcm susah nah gitu* :P But at the same time, I want to make use of my holidays doing some important stuff which I dont want to mention here. Paiseh lah taruk here.

Exams are long over and Alhamdulillah, I managed to answer all questions although I was super stressed for PCC and MER. I was not fully prepared when I entered the exam hall. But Alhamdulillah, the questions I spotted (with the help of Nurul's email) keluar for PCC. The night before, I asked Kakak to check my prepared "answers" and enhance them. I was left to understand and "memorise" the following day which was just so difficult to do as RHRA (the first paper) topics were filling 80% of my memory capacity.

MER was worse. I woke up for Subuh and started my revision for the 2.30 paper only at around 8. I could not get anything into my brain at all. I complained to Mama who in turn, say I should just sleep and tawakal je. Not to get stressed over it. So I just read through the whole stack of notes (thanks to Han a lot a lot). When the invigilator said: You may begin reading the paper" I checked the last page only to find out that all the questions that were asked were all the things I read in the morning. Alhamdulillah. :) I couldnt thank HIM more. I was smiling and praying for kesyukuran that the invigilator looked at me like Im some kind of alien or something.

:)

Abang E wanted to belanja me and Odip makan. But tengoklah. He's sleeping! :( Oh ya. Abang Nizam's so mean. made me watch this video of two NS Men on guard duty making a nonsense video with "sister with long hair who wears white especially at night and mostly found in trees". But Abang E said its bedek because the cackling of the "sister with long hair who wears white especially at night and mostly found in trees" is from another video. They edited it.

But do you want to see REAL "sister with long hair who wears white especially at night and mostly found in trees"? Here's the link! Its from my brothers.

"sister with long hair who wears white especially at night and mostly found in trees"

They feel that its betul punyer. You guys tengoklah and judge for yourselves whether its betul or borak k? Haha. :)

Have fun!

Imagine.

This is a wonderful poem. I hope it sheds some light in everyone's life.

Ask yourself these questions, If I were to die will Allah (swt) be pleased with me? What I have done in my life till now?

Have I just been chasing after the du nya & not Allah's happiness? Have I made the world a better place with my presence?

Have I done anything for Islam today and most
Importantly did I pray?

Dear brothers and sisters, think of
a list of the most important things to you ..

What number is Allah (swt) on
that list? try to make amends, beg for Allah's forgiveness .

Just Close Your Eyes And Imagine

Just close your eyes and imagine,
You have just one more day to live;
One more day to show Allah,
What "Jannah" he should give?
To say goodbye to your family,
And all your closest friends;
To ask for forgiveness,
And try to make amends;

Just close your eyes and imagine,
Did you miss a prayer or two?
Did you please Allah, and do the things,
He asks every person to do?

Just close your eyes and imagine,
Tomorrow you will be gone;
No more second chances,
To smell the mist of dawn;

Just close your eyes and imagine,
The angels are going to come,
To take your soul and ask,
In your life "what have you done"?

Just close your eyes and imagine,
The words you want to say;
Will not come out you may realize,
For all your deeds you'll pay;
You want to speak out, to cry out,
In Allah I believe;
But, silence beckons you,
No more can u deceive;

Just close your eyes and imagine,
Finally,
Your silence breaks away;
You tell the angels you believe in Allah,
And for him, you did pray;
You say as tears are pouring down your face
Please, Allah, forgive me,
For the sins that I committed,
Have mercy is my plea!

Just close your eyes and imagine,
That the smell of musk surrounds you,
From your head down to your feet;
You realize Allah forgave you,
Hell fire you did defeat;

But we all know as Muslims,
When it's time for you to die;
You'll not be given a second chance,
To say a last goodbye;

So live each day as If it's your last,
And never forget to pray;
So when the angels come to ask,
You'll know the words to say.

Remember Brother & Sisters...we are all here in this world for just awhile...make the most of everyday & do what's required if not more

Come to think of it, how long is a person's life in this world? How far is death? When a person is born, Azaan is said in his ears. He then lives a life of, say 70 years. Then when he dies, shortly afterwards is the Namaaz-e Janaaza prayed. So how long is his life? 70 years? Wrong! His whole life is like the brief period of time between Azaan and Jamaat.

Song of the Month

Essential Companion.

Nadiah, when you're in love, you're an Essential Companion. Approximately 22% of people share this type with you. What does this title say about you? Read on to find out.

Essential Companion

If someone is looking for a genuine, down-to-earth partner who knows how to treat others with kindness, they'd best look in your direction. As an essential companion, you're one who not only respects and values the people in your life, but who makes your relationships a top priority. However, you're usually not the type to try to impress others with fancy romantic gestures. Nor are you a person who is apt to spend time worrying about your appearance in a superficial manner. If that special someone is willing to take you as you are, you will happily do the same for them. However if they're not, you'll probably keep on walking.

You're probably interested in finding a partner who will be equally committed to things like quality time and genuine communication. That way, the two of you can focus on one another without all the bells and whistles that some people consider an essential part of a good relationship. When you find an individual who feels the way you do about these things, the relationship you create will be a truly special one.

Lame.

Nadiah's lame-ass excuse to break up:
